A Picture on Flag Hill

B and I took the girls for a little camp out on Flag Hill. The cloths flapping in the background are not laudry hung out to dry; they are prayer flags hung by Tibetan Buddhists, who live in the area.

The girls were real troopers carrying in the tents, sleeping bags, food and water for the weekend. As usual, we lost the path on the way in. However, as Providence would have it, we found a new location that is prettier and flatter than the place we were aiming for.

It was great to be away with the family...no phones, no visitors... The big girls have asked if we can have more family time camping out together. Hopefully, we will get some time in over the winter break.

Hello All!!!

I kept thinking about and talking about starting a blog and then I never seemed to get around to it. So finally I decided I had to bite the bullet and get going...I don't know as much as I'd like to about making a blog look pretty and how to do all the fun things I want to...but I thought I might as well get started and that should give me motivation to learn what I think I need to know.

Well, it took me a bit to get it sorted. Now, my window of opportunity has closed. The wee ones are up and needing my attention. And in the next half hour B and R will arrive back from school...there's a bit more tidying that needs to happen before then.

Bless ya all.
